I have thought for a couple of years now that the Southeast False Creek real estate did not belong in the Mount Pleaseant, Vancouver West Sub-Area. Well, just today the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (they own and manage the Multiple Listing Service in Metro Vancouver) made the change. Southeast False Creek from Ontario St. west, and from False Creek south to W. 6th Ave. is now part of the False Creek subarea.
I am not sure they got it quite right though as the very southeast corner of Southeast False Creek is not included. This would leave new developments like Central and Opsal in a different subarea than the rest of the neighbourhood. I believe that once Southeast False Creek is built out it will get it’s own subarea much like they have done in Yaletown (formerly False Creek North).
