This Saturday the False Creek South Neighbourhood Association and the City of Vancouver’s Keep Vancouver Spectacular campaign are hosting False Creek South Clean-up in False Creek South.
False Creek South Cleanup May 26th
The cleanup will take place in False Creek South from the Cambie Bridge to the Granville Bridge, between 6th Avenue and False Creek. To volunteer, it’s simply a matter of emailing John at fcscleanup@yahoo.ca.
Keep Vancouver Spectacular provides gloves, tongs, garbage bags and takes away the piles of garbage at the end. It is a great way to meet your neighbours and to take pride in your neighbourhood. Coffee is even provided.
